Carol's Original WorkS  known as C.O.WS. is a small reproduction business,
owned and operated by the Artist; Carol M. Herden.
From the original sculptures, to the finished piece, Carol and faithful companion Brian Vitcovich make it happen.

Each original piece is sculpted in clay by Carol.   When the sculpture is fine tuned to her satisfaction, Brian then makes a mold of the piece and begins production.    Each piece is produced in a durable Cold Cast Porcelain.  The Porcelain is cast under pressure to insure a detailed cast.  Each cast is then cleaned and primed.  Carol individually hand paints each animal, and each though the same casting, may have totally different looks and personality.  No two will be exactly alike.
